Arthur Vallin, Laurids Gallée and Niko Koronis are one of those visionaries whose work leaves the viewer in awe, placing them at the top of “the food chain of design”.

These artists, working with materials such as resin, stone, glass and more, are creating pieces that transcend conventional boundaries. Their creations embody a fusion of artistry, functionality and a profound understanding of the unique properties of each material.

Niko

Koronis

Niko Koronis is an architect and designer based in Milan. He graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture, earned a Master's in Environmental Design of Buildings, and obtained a Master's in Design with distinction from Domus Academy in Milan. Later, he completed his Ph.D. in Architecture at the Architectural Association in London.

His work has been showcased in events such as the Venice Biennale and the Triennale di Milano.

His studio specializes in creating astonishing pieces made of resin, stone, glass, wood and metal.

Koronis has a global presence in teaching, research, and exhibitions, contributing to institutions like Central Saint Martins and the Alvar Aalto Foundation.

Arthur

Vallin

Arthur Vallin, a versatile Creative Director from France, holds a Master’s degree in Art Direction from the prestigious design academy Penninghen. In 2012, he became a partner at Harley & Company, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the creative department.

Under his leadership, the design studio garnered acclaim for its immersive experiences, digital innovations and successful campaigns.

Currently based in New York, he operates his design studio, mainly working with materials such a stone, wood and metal.

Arthur is known for his pursuit of a harmonious balance between shapes and spaces, innovative manufacturing processes and impactful visuals. His studio specializes in creating high-end collectible furniture pieces, constantly exploring new shapes and materials.

My main source of inspiration comes from pictorial art, for example, Chubby was inspired by Botero’s paintings

Arthur highlights he deliberately avoids looking at designs of other artists in order to avoid being too influenced by them. His inspiration is driven by encounters with art in museums, maintaining a fresh and evolving perspective in his work.

Laurids

Gallée

Coming from a family of artists, Laurids Gallée pursued design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, feeling a strong connection to the field. Among his works are furniture, lighting and decor pieces created with an array of different materials such as resin, wood and fabrics. Having worked as a craftsman in a resin production company for several years, Laurids approaches his projects with curiosity, pushing the boundaries of both the material and his skills, constantly adding new pieces to his collection.

Drawing inspiration from history of applied arts Laurids strives for his creations to evoke traditional craftsmanship, while seamlessly fitting into contemporary settings.

My work completely builds on personal fascinations

Laurids’s monumental light fixture, Empyrean Suspended 01, was inspired by celestial elements of fire and light.
